Terms
The following Terms and Conditions will apply to all bookings of Plas y Nant Lodge.
No contract will exist between us until we receive your completed booking form and deposit/full payment(as applicable) and have issued to you a confirmation of booking. At this point a legally binding contract will exist between us and you and all members of your party will be bound by them and we will undertake to make the property available to you for the rental period set out in the booking form.
Failure to comply with these terms may lead to termination of the contract and loss of the booking.
DEPOSIT
A non-refundable deposit of £50 (per week staying) will be payable at the time of booking. If the booking is made within 6 weeks of the proposed rental period then full payment is required at the time of booking.
BALANCE
Any remaining balance must be paid no later than 6 weeks before the arrival date, or as previously agreed with us. In the event of the balance not being received by the due date, then we will treat the booking as having been cancelled by you.
Payment may be made by bank transfer, cheque, credit/debit card or Paypal.
CANCELLATIONS
If you cancel your holiday more than 6 weeks before it is due to start, then your deposit will be forfeited. If you cancel within the 6 weeks prior to the holiday then the full balance remains due. In the event of cancellation we will attempt to re-let the property. If we are able to do so then we will refund the balance payment less any discount that we may have had to offer to secure the re-let.
We strongly recommend that you take out a suitable travel insurance when booking your holiday.
USE OF PROPERTY
Only individuals listed on the booking form are entitled to stay overnight in the property. The maximum occupancy is 4 people including children. If there is any change to the original information on the booking form then we must be advised in writing as soon as possible.
The property is to be used solely for the purposes of a holiday let.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES
Our change over day is normally a Saturday. During peak season this cannot be changed. If during low season you wish to discuss a different day then please contact us prior to booking. The cottage will be available to you from 3pm on the arrival day. We ask that you vacate the cottage by 10am on the date of departure so that it may be cleaned in preparation for the next guests.
CLEANING/BED LINEN
Bed linen and towels are provided. Also supplied are tea towels for the kitchen. Please bring any bedding for the cot (if applicable) and provide your own dog towels and bedding.
DAMAGE TO THE COTTAGE, FIXTURES AND FITTINGS
Please leave the property as you would wish to find it and in the same state of repair as at the commencement of your holiday. Should additional cleaning be required then we reserve the right to make an additional charge.
In the event of accidental damage to any of the contents or one of the appliances not working properly, please let us know as soon as possible. We cannot consider any claims for loss of enjoyment for defects not notified to us whilst you are still resident in the property.
SMOKING
Smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited inside the cottage. Should this not be adhered to and extra cleaning be needed, we reserve the right to claim the additional cost from you.
DISABLED GUESTS
Although Plas y Nant Lodge is all on one level there is a small step up to the front and back doors.
PETS
We allow two well behaved dogs on the condition they are not left unattended in the property (unless crated). We also ask that your pet does not go on the furniture or the bed. Please bring bowls, bedding and extra towels for your pets. It is your responsibility to clean up after your pets. Please also ensure that you remove all dog faeces from the outside area before departure (There is a small bin provided for dog waste in the garden).
WI-FI
We provide wifi for your use at no extra charge. If there is a problem with the connection we will endeavour to get it working as soon as possible, but in the event of circumstances beyond our control we cannot guarantee an uninterrupted service.The wifi is to be used only for lawful purposes. In particular downloading or viewing of illegal material is expressly prohibited.
RIGHT OF ENTRY
You agree to allow us access to the cottage at any reasonable time during the period of the holiday for maintenance or in the case of emergency.
COMPLAINTS
We hope you have a trouble free and enjoyable holiday. Should you feel that you have cause for complaint we require you to notify us immediately in order for us to have the opportunity to put things right for you. We regret that we are unable to consider complaints that are notified to us once you have returned home.
LIABILITY
Your personal belongings and those of your party are left at the property at your own risk. We accept no liability to you or your party for any loss, damage or injury howsoever caused during your stay at the cottage, except to the extent such loss, damage or injury is caused by our negligence or willful default. If liable, our liability is limited to the value of the holiday price.
